The backlash of misinformation and voter suppression over the past few months means that we can’t let up. Our goals this year are to increase voter registration and engagement in our community, working especially in partnership with youth and people of color, and to continue to advocate for issues important to our region such as healthcare, the environment, and social justice. Two of our members recently reached out to Senator Richard Burr to ask him to provide regular and frequent updates about the progress of the committee’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2017 Presidential Election.
