“White Women Get Ready” Book Talk

November 12 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

A very unique opportunity awaits local community members committed to anti-racist liberation this Sunday, November 12th, featuring author Amanda Gross – a longtime volunteer and friend of the RJC. After an eight-year examination of the responsibilities we all have to heal from and transform the legacies of whiteness that harm us all, Amanda has written White Women, Get Ready: A Handbook for White Ladies Working Toward Anti-Racist Liberation. Amanda hopes her work will spark deep dives into the ways gender and racial justice intersect, helping to awaken the realization of our collective power and collective stake in ending the violence of racism.

Come join a conversation with the author this Sunday, November 12th, from 3 to 5 pm, at St. John’s Episcopal Church. No pre-registration is necessary for this free event.
