We Cried Power Film Screening

May 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join the Raising Wages NC Coalition for a virtual film screening and discussion of We Cried Power on Thursday, May 13th, at 7 pm, and find out how you can get involved in raising wages in North Carolina and find inspiration from people powered movements.

The minimum wage hasn’t gone up in almost 12 years and North Carolina workers can’t wait anymore. North Carolina’s economy can’t wait anymore. The fight to raise the minimum wage is one that we can win with people power.

We Cried Power is a documentary film that tells the story of a bold new social movement to end poverty in the United States, led by Rev. Dr. William J. Barber and Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis.
