We have TWO “Virtual Canvass” opportunities this month, and since it’s summer time and everyone’s eager to be outdoors again, we’re switching to weekday evenings. Join us for one or both, on Tuesday, Aug 4, 6-8 pm or Thursday Aug 20, 6-8pm.

We’re continuing to reach out to sporadic voters in Buncombe County. In this critical election year, every vote counts. And we have the power right here in our community to make a difference at the local, state, and national levels. Now more than ever, we need to do our part to help make sure that all voters feel engaged and motivated to vote.

Each “Virtual Canvass” starts out with a short online training session and an opportunity to practice using the easy ThruTalk app. We’ll then sign off for an hour of phone-banking and bring everyone back together for a 15-minute wrap-up at the end.

What You’ll Need

• A computer or Android tablet (sorry, iPads won’t work)
• A phone (cell or landline)
• Access to Chrome or Firefox (not Safari)
• A hand-free headset or earbuds are preferred, for your convenience

Each “Virtual Canvass” will be held on Zoom. Please register here first. We will send you a link for the Zoom meeting the day before the event.

“Let’s All Vote!” is Indivisible AVL’s 2020 campaign of issue-based voter outreach and engagement, which includes Community Conversations, a way of reaching voters in our own social networks, as well as monthly canvassing.
