Transylvania NAACP Vigil of Remembrance

Join the Transylvania County NAACP for a Vigil of Remembrance at 7 pm, on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30th, on the steps of the County Courthouse in Brevard.
The Transylvania County NAACP is replacing their regular Moral Monday gathering with a special public Memorial Day tribute honoring, not only those killed in uniform defending America, but also those lost to gun violence. Several speakers will suggest actions ordinary people can do beyond “sending thoughts and prayers” and suggest ways to channel our hurt and outrage into positive action.
