Transylvania NAACP: 2022 Candidates Forum

The Transylvania NAACP will host the second of two “2022 Candidates Forums” on Wednesday, September 21st, from 7 to 9 pm, featuring candidates from the local School Board, Sheriff and County Commissioners races.
NAACP President Tommy Kilgore invites all voters to watch. “As in past years, the NAACP Candidates Forums will seek to clarify the candidates’ positions on key issues of importance to the entire Transylvania County community. We’re honored this year to welcome the candidates and moderators Mike Hawkins, former chairman of the County Commission, and Brevard Mayer Maureen Copelof.”
The forum is not interactive, but the public may submit questions in advance to transnaacp@gmail.com.
