The Importance of State Courts: A Discussion with Justice Anita Earls

June 14 @ 6:30 pm

State courts have long flown under the radar of many voters, despite the fact that we vote for state judges in North Carolina. The courts are our third branch of government and are supposed to act as a vital check on the legislative and executive branches. They are much too important to be overlooked.

It’s vital that everyone knows what’s going on in our state court system.

Join Pro-Choice North Carolina on Wednesday, June 14th, at 6:30 pm, for a conversation with North Carolina State Supreme Court Associate Justice Anita Earls. Justice Earls will talk about how our state courts impact our rights and lives, their role in guaranteeing equal justice under the law and how all of this relates to our reproductive rights.
