Sunrise AVL Rally At The Carbon Plan Hearing

Join the Sunrise AVL rally outside the Buncombe County Courthouse, 60 Court Plaza, downtown Asheville on Wednesday, July 27th, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, and demand that Duke take real action to curb its emissions and make the transition to a just and clean energy future.
Duke Energy filed a Carbon Plan with the state, outlining their plan for reducing emissions from providing power in North Carolina. The public is invited to comment at the public hearing July 27, beginning at 7 pm, at the courthouse. Sunrise AVL is partnering with many other local groups to have a strong presence at the hearing.
