Protect Pisgah Party & Rally For The Forest

The Protect Pisgah Party + Rally for the Forest will highlight the vast, overwhelming public and political support for protecting the Pisgah-Nantahala National Forest. The rally will be outside the U.S. Forest Service Headquarters, 160 Zillicoa Street, in Asheville, on Monday, August 1st, from 4 to 5:30 pm, the day before the final forest plan negotiations begin.
The event is being organized by MountainTrue, Sierra Club, Center for Biological Diversity, Southern Environmental Law Center, The Wilderness Society, Forest Keeper, Defenders of Wildlife, Friends of Big Ivy, and the I Heart Pisgah coalition.
