Moral Monday: Democracy vs Autocracy
July 5 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Tune in on Monday, July 5th, at 3 pm, to hear Poor People’s Campaign co-chair Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II offer a vision for intensified civil disobedience to demand full voting rights and a $15/hr federal minimum wage as well as announce plans for this summer’s upcoming actions.
Democracy vs autocracy is the battle of our time. The longer Manchin, Sinema & McConnell’s obstructionists refuse to break the non-constitutional filibuster, the more they undercut America’s moral authority in the face of autocracies around the world. We need a season of nonviolent civil disobedience to turn up the heat on the Senate!
We don’t need an insurrection; we need a resurrection of moral movement.
Forward together, not one step back!
