“Let’s All Vote!” December Canvass
December 8, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
FreeThe 2020 election is all about voter outreach and engagement, and the time to start is NOW! This first monthly outreach is part of a coordinated statewide day of action and is strictly non-partisan. We’ll be talking with voters in West Asheville about issues that matter to them and will share information on the new voter ID law. We’ll gather at Francine Delaney New School for a brief training and instructions then go out in pairs to talk with voters in the neighborhood. Afterward we’ll gather at the Westville Pub with free food and drinks for all the volunteer canvassers.
Childcare will be provided at Francine Delaney New School while parents are canvassing. Childcare provider is a certified K-12 art teacher. Please RSVP with ages of kids if you need childcare.
Non-partisan voter outreach is a fun and easy way to get involved—and it makes a big difference in the long run. So join us!
No prior experience needed, although we do need everyone to RSVP so we can prepare enough materials ahead of time.
“Let’s All Vote!” is Indivisible AVL’s 2020 campaign of issue-based voter outreach and engagement, including a monthly door-to-door outreach based on the model of deep canvassing. In January we will also launch a relational voter program, which helps participants reach out to individuals in their own personal networks.
