Join us for our second monthly “Virtual Canvass!” We are continuing the direct voter outreach part of our 2020 Voter Engagement Campaign, but instead of going door to door we’re reaching out by phone. The method has changed, but the goal remains the same: to reach out directly to sporadic voters in Buncombe County, knowing that we have the power right here to make a difference in our community, our state, and our nation. In this critical election year, every vote counts. Now more than ever, we need to do our part to help make sure that all voters feel engaged and motivated to vote.

Each month’s “Virtual Canvass” will start out with a short online training session and an opportunity to practice using the easy ThruTalk app. We’ll then sign off for an hour of phone-banking and bring everyone back together for a 15-minute wrap-up at the end.

What You’ll Need

• A computer or Android tablet (sorry, iPads won’t work)
• A phone (cell or landline)
• Access to Chrome or Firefox (not Safari)
• A hand-free headset or earbuds are preferred, for your convenience

Each month’s “Virtual Canvass” will be held on Zoom. Please register here first. We will send you a link for the Zoom meeting the day before the event.

“Let’s All Vote!” is Indivisible AVL’s 2020 campaign of issue-based voter outreach and engagement, which includes Community Conversations, a way of reaching voters in our own social networks, as well as monthly canvassing.
