Panel Discussion: Immigrant Employment in Henderson County

The League of Women Voters of Henderson County will host a panel discussion “Exploring the Landscape of Immigrant Employment in Henderson County: Opportunities and Dilemmas” on Thursday, February 16th, 5-6:30 pm, in the Henderson County Public Library’s Kaplan Auditorium in Hendersonville.

Panelists are Bert Lemkes, General Manager at Tri-Hishtil LLC.; Christopher Just, Farmworker Regional Educator, Henderson County Extension; and Brittany Brady, President of the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development.

Panelists will discuss the current employment picture of the county, roles that immigrants play in the Henderson County employment landscape, and the effect that national immigration policies play in employment.
