FIX-IT: Healthcare At The Tipping Point

Healthcare for All WNC will present the documentary FIX-IT: Healthcare at the Tipping Point at the East Asheville Library, on Tuesday, January 17th, from 2:30 to 3:20 pm. The screening is free and open to the public. There will be a Q&A session afterward.
FIX-It is a powerful documentary created by Richard Master, CEO of MCS Industries, that makes a compelling case for scrapping our complicated and needlessly expensive multi-payer system for a single-payer system (publicly financed, privately delivered healthcare). Not only does a single payer system provide healthcare to all, it is a boon to businesses by being less expensive, most supportive of a free market, and has the most direct effect on the costs of operation. It also would benefit communities by lowering health care costs to city, state and municipal employers and freeing up much needed funds for other projects such as schools and roads.
