Get Out The Vote Letter-Writing Campaign

November 28 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Registrations are closed for this event

We’re getting together in person! Join us Monday night at the Westville Pub in West Asheville for a special letter-writing event, as we send letters to left-leaning voters in Georgia reminding them to GET OUT AND VOTE in the December 6 runoff election between incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) and challenger Herschel Walker (R).

In last month’s general election, the Democratic candidate for the Georgia Senate race, Rev. Raphael Warnock, garnered more votes than Trump-backed Republican challenger Herschel Walker, but didn’t get more than 50 percent of the vote, which is required under Georgia law. The December 6 runoff will therefore determine who represents Georgia in the U.S. Senate.

We’ll provide all materials and supplies, including names, addresses, stationery, envelopes, stamps, a letter template to follow and suggestions for including your own personal message.

Names and addresses of Georgia voters are being provided by Vote Forward, a nonpartisan voter outreach organization. Georgia is a critical area for maintaining and expanding progressive power at both the state and national levels. By encouraging left-leaning voters to turn out here, we can help ensure that their voices are heard.

So come on out for this short but important letter-writing event – our last voter outreach of the year. (Bonus treat: Free drinks for letter-writers!)

See you Monday night!
