The Nature Conservancy will present Forests, Communities and Hope: Appalachians on Tuesday, June 7th, at 3 pm. This is a webinar offered by Conservancy, which has designated the Appalachians as one of four critical conservation areas globally.
The Appalachian Mountains’ landscape covers over 2,000 miles of land vital for biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation. Our projects and partnerships throughout the expanse of this iconic region protect nature for present and future generations while providing economic, energy and recreational development opportunities for local communities.
