Citizens’ Climate Lobby: Southeast LTE Writing Party

This is an opportunity for anyone to turn up on Zoom, write a letter to the editor, and submit it to a local newspaper before the hour is out!
We know that the staffers for our members of Congress monitor the local newspapers. LTEs are an effective way to let them know that climate change is a priority issue for their constituents. If we mention our elected officials by name in published letters, it is likely to end up on their desks.
There’ll be a quick six-minute training for anyone who needs it, then a discussion on timely letter-writing opportunities. Anyone who would like to share can read their letters or ask questions.
