Grassroots Rising: Leveling Up in the Climate Fight

Food, drinks, and Van Jones! WNC Citizens’ Climate Lobby chapter is hosting a watch party for their Fall Conference called Grassroots Rising: Leveling up in the Climate Fight. Join them Saturday, November 4th, from 12 to 5 pm and Sunday, November 5th, from 1 to 4 pm at the Unitarian Universalists of Transylvania County.
CCL has crafted this virtual conference with top notch speakers (including CNN commentator, social entrepreneur, and renowned author Van Jones) and dynamic sessions to help everyone learn how to advocate for climate policy federally. They are also focusing on getting towns like Brevard, Marshall, Black Mountain and others to implement a climate action plan just like Asheville, Waynesville and Hendersonville have already started doing.
Join in and help climate solutions move forward in a bipartisan way that’s good for the environment AND good for US!
