An Evening With Bill McKibben

Climate activist Bill McKibben will be guest speaker at a fundraiser on Wednesday, June 15th, from 7 to 9 pm, for the Neighbor to Neighbor Low Income Solar Program of the Green Built Alliance. Bill is a professor at Middlebury College and has written several books, including “The End of Nature.” He also co-founded the climate organization 350.org. This year’s solar provider is Buncombe County’s Sugar Hollow Solar.
From 7 to 8 pm, you’ll enjoy music from local bluegrass band Zoe and Cloyd, and beer, wine and soft drinks from a local caterer. And from 8 to 9, you’ll hear from Bill McKibben.
