“Suppressed: The Fight to Vote” Film Screening & Discussion

February 7 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Join us at next month’s Environmental & Social Justice Film Night for a screening of “Suppressed: The Fight to Vote” on Friday, February 7th at 7 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville (One Edwin Place, Asheville, NC 28801).

Suppressed was filmed during the 2018 Georgia elections, and follows voters experiencing all types of suppression during an election where they could have had the first African-American female governor in US history.

After the film, join us for a short talk-back on the current state of voting rights, current limits to voting access, and what we’ll be doing this year to fight back against suppression!

Questions? Email me back or call me at 828-419-0546.

See you there!
