|This week (August 6) we will be partnering with Buncombe County Young Democrats to write to our representatives about the administrations's plan to repeal the DACA program. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is an American immigrant policy enacted under the Obama administration in June 2012. DACA allows certain undocumented immigrants who entered the country as minors, to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and eligibility for a work permit.
