“TOMORROW” Documentary & Idea Incubator: Take Action Now

Is there anything ordinary citizens can actually do to halt the eco-disasters facing us today? Are sustainability issues always overwhelming and depressing? Yes and no! Come out Sunday afternoon, Oct. 29, from 3:00 to 6:00, at the First Congregational Church in Asheville (20 Oak Street), to see the award-winning documentary “Tomorrow” and get inspired to take action now, right here in our own community. The film takes a proactive and hopeful approach to the many pressing environmental issues we currently face and will serve as a springboard for new ideas and actions we can put into place here and now.

Immediately after the screening, we will break into small-group ‘idea incubators,’ each group looking at one of the five areas covered in the film: Agriculture, Energy, Economy, Democracy, and Education. Indivisible AVL will also host follow-up incubators to help facilitate moving the new ideas into action.

For more on this special event, visit “Tomorrow”: Documentary Film Screening & Idea Incubator on Facebook. The event is free, but donations are always appreciated.
