Duke Rate Hike Comments Needed by June 30

During this time of Covid-19, when people have lost jobs and many are food insecure, it is inappropriate for Duke Energy Progress to ask for any rate increase, much less a 14.3% increase.

Because of the virus, the NC Public Utilities Commission extended its period for pubic comment to June 30. It is essential for the Commission to hear from ratepayers who oppose this rate increase.
