“A Call for 100% Clean, Renewable Energy
& Suspension of all New Fossil Fuel Infrastructure

The Call includes:

Supporting 100% fossil fuel-free, renewable energy development
in NC and development of a statewide Climate Action Plan

Suspending the Atlantic Coast Pipeline Project and all other new
fossil fuel infrastructure, including the proposed Mountain
Valley Pipeline project and offshore drilling until plan is
complete.
Advancing green jobs development
Protecting our forests and halting the production of wood
pellets for domestic use and export
Coal Ash disaster relief and recovery
Clean Energy is not Clean Unless it is Carbon-Free

Activities on June 21 are being developed by faith-based and climate action organizations on the local and statewide level. Weekly planning calls are underway. The following activities are being planned: Rally, Speeches, Meetings with Legislatures, March, Symposium for governmental officials, and a Concert on the Mall from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
