Energy Savers Network has an ambitious project for the Housing Authority of Asheville and volunteers are urgently needed.

During May and June, Energy Savers Network will complete a pilot project for the Housing Authority of Asheville (HACA) to upgrade homes of limited-income families with basic energy efficiency improvements such as low-flow shower heads, caulking, and sealing air ducts. Volunteers are urgently needed to perform these improvements.

Volunteers are asked to work 2-3 weekdays of their choosing. The goal is to treat three units each day from May 1 through June 30. The pilot may lead to additional opportunities with HACA.

Energy Savers Network is a project of the Greenbuilt Alliance. You can sign up to volunteer online here. Or send an email directly to Energy Savers Network to volunteer.
