Defending Democracy with Informed Community Action in WNC

Show Up & Speak Out: Rep. Mark Meadows Coming to Asheville 4/20

Rep. Mark Meadows, representing WNC’s 11th Congressional District (Candler, Fletcher, Hendersonville, Fletcher, Woodfin, Weaverville), is making a quiet stop in Asheville on Thursday, April 20.

If you’d like to send him a message, show up and bring your signs in peaceful protest to remind him of the issues that are important to his constituents!

WHO:      Rep. Mark Meadows (11th District )
WHERE:  A-B Tech Community College, Asheville Campus
WHEN:    Thursday, April 20, 12:00-1:30 p.m.

Location

We suggest gathering on the sidewalk on Victoria Road in front of the Bailey Building. This is public property, so it should be acceptable for free expression, and it’s highly visible. It’s directly on any drive-through route he might take, and it’s right across the road from the Simpson Building (Administration), which we guess is a likely destination. On this campus map, the Bailey Building is #6 and Simpson is #1.

A-B Tech campus is located at 340 Victoria Road in Asheville: https://www.abtech.edu/about/locations/asheville-campus

Please share and spread the word. We hope to see you there!
