Help support our new Community Partnership Project and sign up to be a Homework Helper today!

The K-5 After-School Program at the Dr. Wesley Grant Sr. Southside Recreation Center needs volunteers to help kids with homework. Sign up for as little as one or two hours a week—or even a couple of hours a month—on any school day, Monday through Friday, between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

It’s easy, it’s fun, it’s super rewarding, and it doesn’t require any extra work! Just show up and help with whatever the kids need help with—and share some encouragement and support along the way.

The Grant Center is centrally located at 285 Livingston Street in Asheville. The after-school program runs through the remainder of the school year (June 8).

Interested? Drop us a line with your available times, and we’ll get you signed up. Email info@indivisibleavl.org with “Homework Helper” in the subject line. Or call the Grant Center directly at 259-5483 and say you’re an Indivisible Asheville volunteer.

And please spread the word!
