Sign Up for March Voter Outreach Activities

Join us Thursday, March 21 at the WNC Votes Voter Outreach Coalition’s monthly meeting, and sign up to canvass with us in West Asheville on Saturday, March 23. Monthly door-to-door canvasses allow us to engage with sporadic voters and those who often feel left out of the system. First-time canvassers are welcome and encouraged to attend. The coalition’s monthly planning meetings are open to anyone interested in learning about the effectiveness of nonpartisan voter outreach.

WNC Votes Nonpartisan Voter Outreach Coalition is a group of community organizations and individuals working together to increase turnout in 2024, with a mission to engage, educate and empower voters who are often left out and left behind. Current partners include the YWCA of Asheville, the Poor People’s Campaign-NC, Just Economics of WNC, and Asheville Food & Beverage United (AFBU), as well as Indivisible AVL. The coalition is currently organized in three working teams: Canvassing, Tabling, and Hispanic/Latino Outreach. For more information or to join one of the planning teams, email Brenda Murphree at
