Meet the Candidates for US House District 11

We have big changes in the 2020 election year for US House District 11. Shortly after the district maps were redrawn to include all of Buncombe County, incumbent Mark Meadows(R) announced he wouldn’t run in 2020. With a new map and Meadows out of the picture, the seat is open for someone new. There are five progressive candidates running in the primary, each hoping to challenge the Republican candidate in November.

So we sat down and interviewed each of the candidates, Gina Collias, Moe Davis, Michael O’Shea, Phillip Price, and Steve Woodsmall, to get to know them.
