Submit Your Comments on Voter ID Rules
In the 2018 elections, NC voters passed a very loose Voter ID law, and now it’s time to figure out how it will actually work. The State Board of Elections (SBOE) has published the text of two proposed rules and invited public comment. So read the proposed rules and make your voice heard! The comment period extends from Feb 8 to March 15.
Public comment may be made through this online portal, or by emailing
rules@ncsbe.gov, or by postal mail to: Katelyn Love, Deputy General Counsel, PO Box 27255, Raleigh, NC 27611-7255.
A public hearing on the proposed rules will be held at the SBOE office in Raleigh on March 13.
